On Friday, April 10, the middle school students gathered for an hour on the track at the BJU Alumni Stadium to participate in the annual Jog-a-Thon. Funds from this year’s event support the school’s technology fund, an account used to increase and maintain technology resources. This year 76 7th-graders, 77 8th-graders and four teachers combined for 2327 laps—581.75 miles! Homeroom 7-4 contributed the most laps (378); but 8-4 won the contest by having the highest laps/student average, 17.6. Congratulations to Stephen Muller for the highest individual total, 30 laps. Now the excitement continues as the donations from sponsors accumulate in the school office.
