On Thursday, May 14, 84 high school seniors marched across the stage of Rodeheaver Auditorium to receive their high school diplomas from Bob Jones Academy.
The one-hour ceremony included testimonies from six seniors, the valedictory and salutatory addresses, a challenge from BJU President Steve Pettit, and awards presentations to several seniors. Nathan Collins and Grace Fryml are the Valedictorian and Salutatorian, respectively. The class sang “Be Thou My Vision,” which is their class hymn.
In the fall, 81 graduates plan to go to college, and two plan to go into the military.
Class verse: “Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind.” (Matthew 22:37)
The ceremony is still available for viewing here.
