Congratulations to BJA sixth-grade teacher Dennae White for successfully defending her dissertation and completing her doctoral degree in Curriculum and Instruction through Bob Jones University.
Dr. White’s doctoral program included a variety of courses in philosophy, pedagogy, special education and theology. Her dissertation, An Examination of Scheduling Models in Sixth Grade: Does the Middle School Format Work in the Elementary School?, examined and compared the academic impact of students remaining in the same class all day, switching classes for two subjects or changing classes each hour.
