A bumbling detective, a wealthy socialite, a young couple in love and many more came together to make “Dinner at Eight, Dead by Nine” a delightful evening of entertainment. Members of the Senior Drama class took part in three performances of this murder mystery with each performance featuring a different cast. The class teacher, Mr. Chuck Nicholas, directed the first half with each group and then turned the directing over to a student director. In addition to acting roles, class members made the tickets, play programs, concessions, and also costumed each performance. Audience members enjoyed cheesecake bites as they witnessed the mysterious murder of Eleanor VanHeusen and then discovered that everyone on stage had a motive.
Senior Drama is offered second semester each year as an elective. Seniors must have taken a speech class to be considered for drama class.
