Beginning this summer, Dr. Jenny Klipp will become the new BJA elementary principal, but hers is a familiar face at the elementary school, where she has invested in the lives of many students over the last five years. Since the fall of 2012, Dr. Klipp has promoted a variety of programs and outreaches as elementary assistant principal—TechClub, robotics teams, instructional technology, the uniform exchange program, Christmas tree decoration in the St. Francis Foundation Festival of Trees, Box Tops collection, courtyard improvements, and many others.
Dr. Klipp and her sister Katie are popular tag-team presenters at teacher conventions, and she maintains a contagious energy and enthusiasm for the Lord and for others. One parent commented, “We are constantly amazed by the lengths to which she will go to connect and reach out to the kids. She is professional but very kind—and always smiling!”
Dr. Klipp completed a MEd in Elementary Education, an EdS in Educational Leadership, and an EdD in Curriculum and Development at BJU. She taught at Easley Christian School for two years before returning to the University, where she worked for a year as the correspondence assistant to the president and then as the assistant to the dean of the School of Fine Arts & Communication for nearly seven years.
We look forward to Dr. Klipp’s continued leadership at BJA’s elementary school. Please pray for her as she steps into this new role and for the BJA administration as we look for a new elementary assistant principal.
Congratulations, Dr. Klipp!
