The fourteen member middle school Mock Trial team competed in the SC Bar Regional Mock Trial Tournament held at the Greenville District Courthouse on Saturday, November 9. Students won recognition at the tournament by vote of their peers or by vote of the adult judges winning 10 out of a possible 12 awards. Additionally by vote of the competing schools, the team won the prestigious Professionalism and Civility Award. This is the second time BJA has been a recipient of this award since its inception in 2017
Middle school mock trial is coached by Chuck Nicholas who is assisted by BJU students Ryan Parimi and Elaina Goodman. BJA grad and local attorney Ruth Hindman DiPasquale is the attorney coach for the team.
