Thirty-six Bob Jones Academy high school and middle school band students competed along with over 1500 students from five surrounding counties in a first round of auditions for Region One Band membership. The following BJA students earned chairs in the South Carolina Region One Honor Bands:

These students will be rehearsing and studying under the direction of guest conductors in the Region One Band Clinic held at Furman University on February 24 and 25 and will perform in a concert at Furman’s McAlister Auditorium at 4 p.m. on Saturday, February 25. The public is invited to this concert.
