On Tuesday, April 10, fourth-graders at Bob Jones Academy had an opportunity for a real-life lesson on how government works as they listened to State Representative Dan Hamilton. Having recently completed a unit on government, the students sent Rep. Hamilton several questions. He answered those and encouraged additional questions as he spoke. His topics included how the branches of government function and interact at the state level, how a bill becomes law, and how to get involved in the political process.
