Recently elementary students enjoyed “Step-Up Day,” an annual event where students have the opportunity to visit the next grade level. Meeting teachers, touring classrooms, sitting in bigger desks, and peeking into textbooks are just a few of the fun activities students enjoy. Teachers also give students a preview of what they will be learning, special activities, field trips, and so much more. Step-Up Day provides a fun yet informative way for students to be introduced to what is coming next year and also get them excited about so many great opportunities to look forward to in the next grade level.
